Everywhere on earth where you see trouble, you find muslims. Coincidence?
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
The government and military should try to stop their corruption. Then they could hunt the militants in the south and institute an assimilation or integration program among the mainstream population through propaganda.

Founding Philosophy: The Moro National Liberation Front's primary goal was the creation of an autonomous Muslim state in the southern Philippines.

This also happened a day after the Philippines' independence day (from the United States). The Muslim separatists could be trying to make a statement.

Out of 7000 plus islands - one wonders if the muslems would shut up and live at peace if given their own land in which to hack each other to death.
salamat!

No. Somebody has a line that goes some thing like "Where ever Islam goes, poverty and misery follow".
Not that Islam has a monopoly on poverty and misery. It just seems to bring it about much sooner than say, atheistic
socialists/communists.
Except for Corzine.
