Kittens love to Nap
If we can't lie down or stretch
Out, sometimes we'll stand
Energy is to be
Measured. So we don't conk out
And end up like this!
I can pull myself
Up later. This Chair is
Mine for the taking!
I hear the Pretty
One's voice. She is looking, but
She won't find me here!
I could stretch or leap
Up. But my arm makes such a
Silky, soft pillow
My chin rests and my
Head turns just a bit as my
Purr lulls me to sleep
My eyes slowly close
My ears turn to catch and keep
The Music of Dreams
The Table and Couch
Beckon. Aware that they are
My future conquests!
