Renowned music producer Dallas Austin has been sentenced to four years in jail for possessing cocaine and an MDM drug.
Austin's lawyer Mohammad Al Redha told Gulf News he would be seeking an appeal on behalf of his client as soon as he receives the verdict sheet.
Austin was travelling to Dubai to attend the birthday party of supermodel Naomi Campbell when he was arrested last month.
The 34-year-old American, who has worked with a string of big names in the music business, among them Madonna and Anastacia, will be deported after serving his sentence.
He will get a ruler's pardon within twelve months.
Did Waco Houston rat him out?
what the heck is a fox like Naomi Campbell doing celebrating
her birthday in AllahLand for? what a coooool place to party
*gag*
((sorry, couldn't resist))
Austin was en route to Dime Box with a dime bag...
Dubai is throwing a lot of money at celebrities to hang around the city and giving them luxury properties on its beaches.
and busting them when they bring along their play things?
figures....
Trust me.
Music industry peoples second source of income is drug dealing. For many, its their first source of income.
This guys is probably one of few that got busted bringing a large amount in, and is being made an example of.
Dubai is the party/gay sex/money buys you anything/ capital of the middle east.
Dubai actually is a pretty cool place to party.
Fantastic beaches, hotels, restaurants and nightclubs.
Just not a smart place to bring a couple of grammes of the Devils Dandruff
Glad to see that Dubais is doing what America wont do. Busting celebrities. Inthis country we all know of the drugs in Hollywood and it is ignord by our own Feds.
No one can convince me that with all the drugs in Hollywood the police cant bust them.
Old Dime Box or New Dime Box?
I think that was the party where I saw Allen Parkway and Stella Link kanoodling in a back booth.
