but when she says, "He has appointed judges dependent on his will alone......" the right response is, "Yes, Ms. Quinn, he certainly has, exactly per the wishes of the founding fathers. God bless him."

Except that the president does not appoint judges, except for recess appointments. He nominates judges and the Senate confirms them.

You're right. I was going to point it out, but given that she wrote the article as a Declaration of Ignorance, I let it pass. But there's no overlooking President Bush's Machiavellian brilliance in giving the Democrats exactly what they wanted. Don't like Miguel Estrada? No problem. I give you, ladies and gentlemen (you claim), the One that you previously approved UNANIMOUSLY. Of course, in our dumbocracy, you are now free to vote against him. It's not as if the dummycrats who elected you will pose any questions at all to you, so knock yourselves out. Show your colors to you colleagues. Color my Harvard MBA ignorant Texan behind wholly unimpressed. Good luck.

We owe this President a debt of gratitude for many things, and we should, I believe, rejoice in his choice of John Roberts and Samuel Alito (whose son, Philip, is an occasional contributor to The Conservative Chronicle).
