The booted senator and chief obstructionist Daschle was always fond of saying "I'm very disappointed...."
It looks like this fool is setting himself up for another big disappointment!

I guess the "Tom Daschle Show" isn't doing so well!

I'd love to see him debate one on one with Hillary, preferably a stand-up no hide behind the podium format. He'd look like a 6th grader at a high school dance.

Daschle opposed much of Bush's program -- from tax cuts for the rich Well, it looks like Reuters is all signed on to the 'Tax cuts for the rich' line.

Deeply, deeply saddened Daschle, with his lobbyist ties, has absolutely no chance of becoming President. He couldn't even win reelection in South Dakota when he was the most powerful Democrat in the Senate.

Tom Daschle is weighing a campaign comeback he hopes might propel him into the White House in 2008. Best laugh of the night...

The U.S. Senate's No. 1 Democrat until his ouster by voters two years ago, Tom Daschle is weighing a campaign comeback he hopes might propel him into the White House in 2008...
HAAAA HA! At first I thought this was from the Onion. Only a Democrat could possible think that being a LOSER qualifies you to become president. So many possible jokes...
If Tom Daschle runs for president, I'm sure he'll come up SHORT!

Tom is so "yesterday."
When he was Senate Majority leader, Tom Daschle called a press conference in order to ridicule people who supported a national missile defense program. It was obvious from his delivery that Daschle's intent was to portray pro-NMD folks as idiots. He unintentionally revealed that he is the half-wit.
The recent North Korean missile crisis has made it clear that we've needed a missile defense program all along.
Transcript from Daschle's press conference, in 2001, on the National Missile Defense Program
Whether or not we want to violate the ABM treaty
especially with a concept [NMD program] that we may not know
...or...
that we do know now does not work
is something that also mystifies me.
I mean
Every aspect of the debate and the consideration
that is given this whole program
is... is troubling to me.
I... I mean... I...there's a disconnect there.
I mean...It just seems common sense....
I mean...there's no brain..
This isn't rocket science here...
Yes it IS rocket science....
that's the problem..
Hadn't thought about that..
As I just think out loud ....
as I meander through here.
(laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh)
That's the problem.
We don't need Tom around to lead us in the wrong direction again.

"Perhaps that is a little dramatic," Daschle said when read the remark. "But I do have a passion for public service and think I can make a contribution." He could always run for Mayor or City Council, but even better, Humane Officer. ( Dog Catcher)

" Well, it looks like Reuters is all signed on to the 'Tax cuts for the rich' line."
Well, it's not like that's not what they were. The point is that the rich pay more of the taxes so they naturally should get more of a tax cut, particularly if we want to inch closer to a flat-tax system.
