STOCKHOLM When Claes Borgstrom called on Sweden's soccer team to boycott the World Cup as a protest of prostitution in Germany, the uproar proved that the politics of gender can stir strong feelings even in a country with one of the world's narrowest gender gaps.
Borgstrom, Sweden's equal opportunities ombudsman and the first male to hold the job, was derided as a cynic and a lunatic, and was pressed to resign. Sweden's team went on to compete in the Cup - and Borgstrom is still in his post as the country's chief gender warrior.

The article read, "When Claes Borgstrom called on Sweden's soccer team to boycott the World Cup as a protest of prostitution in Germany..."
I happen to agree with Borgstrom's stance on sex slave trafficking in Europe--this seemingly global attempt to legalize and celebrate prostitution is an international moral disgrace. That said, hyper-feminism is one of the factors contributing to the dissolution of the family unit, causing the drastic decline in birthrate and a whole bagful of major social problems. Take the 'wage gap' canard, for example. Women in Europe and the US sometimes choose to prioritize their children (imagine that), resulting in different, sometimes less financially advantageous career choices. It is disingenuous on the part of people who cite wage gap statistics as evidence of discrimination.

Oops, sorry. Frauen = women, and verstehen = understand. So, it means something like “one-who-understands-women”...

Much of leftist doctrine is based on men who worship a false and ridiculous view of women. Underneath, they hate and envy
real women for not being the least bit like the ideal they imagine.
Thus, "transgender" is a complete lie: no such person wants to become a real woman, but their own absurd fantasy of what defines one.

"Borgstrom has just accepted a three-year extension in his post as ombudsman - an independent government authority that oversees compliance with laws on gender discrimination." So what is "ombudsman" in proper terms and absent any euphemism?
I'm sure that every political -ism, whether commie or fascist, has some equivalent thug in a suit or a uniform, holding a title and some volume of paperwork that gives the authority to intrude, imprison, seize property, and occasionally kill when warranted by state interest.
"Ombudsman"... right.
