Great that the WH has put together a list of why Iraq is part of the WOT.

The fact that the only place you can read about it is on the WH web site proves my point.

The DNC has no problem getting its message out through its propaganda wing in the press.

The WH apparently thinks posting a top ten list on their website is enough to counter the enemy propaganda that Iraq is not part of the WOT.

It is most certainly not enough.

(CNN) -- Nearly six in 10 Americans oppose the war in Iraq and a growing number of them are dissatisfied with the war on terrorism, according to a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday.

If the WH PR people were doing their job, any leftist, say Rat minority leader Botox Pelosi who said "We would be much safer today if President Bush had kept his focus on Al Qaeda, rather than diverting crucial resources from the war on terror in Afghanistan to a war of choice in Iraq", would be challenged to answer the question of whether they considered Saddam a terrorist, yes or no.

The White House Press Secretary could challenge the press to ask Pelosi the question at a news briefing, or ask Pelosi the question directly and have it relayed via media.

Nothing of the sort happens however, because the Administration has demonstrated itself to be clueless on the necessity of winning the propaganda war at home.

Its a hell of a thing to ask our military to die and then leave them undefended against propaganda attacks by domestic enemies.

Could not agree more. WH media has been dismal, especially after the models of War Room, Rapid Response Teams, Bimbo Eruption Squads, etc. of 8 years prior. Scott McClelland was a total waste (Memo to self: Never hire your friend's or relative's kids.). All the surrogates who used to fan out, e.g. Lanny Davis (Cheshire Cat grin only rivaled by slime bag Benveniste). A good one, Karen Hughes, got sent back to Texas and then over to Mid-East to win hearts and minds (huh?). We needed her here where she relates well with media and American people.

Although I have been in agreement with you in the past PR efforts of the White House, I think they are beginning to change (hiring Tony Snow was a stroke of genius).

It will take some time, but I think things are changing.

And, may I point out, that whatever the WH puts out isn't necessarily covered by the MSM. The MSM is very good at squelching stories that would support the President.

Rome, It's a hell of thing when Freepers are this willingly ignorant of reality. You just had the major US Daily Newspaper willingly publish vital National Security secrets. Do you REALLY think they are going to cover Bush talking about Iraq? Bush gives a speech a week on Iraq, how much coverage do 95% of them get from the Junk Media? That is right. They get ZERO.

BTW, don't you think it is some what naive on your part to take seriously polls that poll 35% Dem, 27% Rep, 38% Inds anyone over 18? Garbage in Garbage out Polls are not reality. It is transparent statistical manipulation by the Junk Media to stamped the ignorant and the naive into believing "Oh my God, the Democrats are wining". Notice something. There is NEVER a poll that shows the Republicans winning. Even in 1980, 1994, 2002 and 2004 the "Polls" showed it "Too close to call" when Republicans smashed the Democrats everywhere.

You have simply got to quit wishing for some magic silver bullet to slay the Dinosaur Media. It is NEVER going to happen. Simply turn off the Junk Media, they are actively working for our enemies. Listening to them is the equivalent of listening to Radio Berlin in 1943 to find out how the war is going.

Here are some facts you may want to chew on. MORE people listen ever day to the top 5 Conservative Radio hosts then watch the Nightly "News" broadcasts of the big 3 Alphabet networks. On Cable News 9 out of the top 10 shows are Fox News. Only Larry King keeps the top 15 from being dominated by Fox News. The REPEAT broadcast of O'Reilly beats EVERYTHING on CNN or MSNBC!

This ignorance of reality among some Freepers is getting REALLY tiresome. Quit listening to our enemies. NOTHING anyone on our side does will ever change their conduct. TURN THEM off, they are the dying Media and are irrelevant. Quit daydreaming this impossible fantasy that SOME how the Administration can magically do something to slay the Dinosaur Media for you. They cannot.
