Well Italy I have always admired for their tactics. Brazil was overrated and I was glad to see them go out to France.

I feel we now have 3 of the best sides in the world - Portugal IMHO are not number 4 that I would give to either Holland or England.

A France, Germany final would make the best game though. Tough one who I would root for. Historically France is not a country I want to win anything and well Germany definitely dad will not want to win but he does not like France either.

Purely going on football though France because of Henry and Zidane are probably the best team. Also Henry is the Arsenal captain and 2 other ex Arsenal players in Wiltord and Vieira.

Wasn't Zidane something to behold. It was as tho he was giving a football clinic to the world.

From the first minutes you just knew that this game was going to be won by France.

Did you happen to see the FR thread about the desecration of the Body of Allistair Cooke? The story made me feel really sad since I used to listen to that Great Voice when I was very young when he hosted a Show called "Omnibus". He certainly did not deserve to be cut up for body parts to be used for transplants and implants and whatever by Ghouls that sold their sold as they did body parts and tissue. There is a special place in hell for those people. He sent letters from America home to GB even when he was very ill with Cancer at the Age of 95. On the thread one of the freepers posted his Letter from America right after 9-11. If anyone has forgotten, it certainly jogs the memory and it clear shows how low the old MSM/DBM has sunk in the hatred of GWB and America. I will see if I can dig up that thread. The entire story was eye opening and sickening.

It would certainly make for an interesting look at who'll be sitting in the crowd during the finals if Germany makes it.

The French have been known to get very nervous any time Germans party too loudly. :o)
