Darken up the first photo and add harsh lighting and shadows or lighten up the second one, or take it in 'available light" (always kinder) like the first one, and you would have an honest comparison.

As a Dose fan who daily sees pictures of the Pres in all kinds of light - I immediately thought it had been doctored a little and considering the source, yeah. We all age - especially a President who is NOT oblivious to everything around him as our last President was. Pres Bush is aging well in his walk.
