"US approves $42 million missile sale to Bahrain"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Pentagon on Friday said it had approved the sale to Bahrain of 180 Javelin missiles built by a joint venture of Lockheed Martin Corp. and Raytheon Co. in a deal valued at up to $42 million.
Bahrain asked to buy the missiles, 60 command launch units, simulator and other equipment as part of an ongoing effort to modernize its armed forces, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said in a mandatory notice to Congress."
