I don't think they helped their totalitarian heroes on D-Day, but they covered up and lied about Stalin's extermination of 5,000,000+ Ukrainians by famine.IIRC, they won a Pulitzer for it too!!

For a real treat, go to www.marketwatch.com, type NYT in the stock search, and bring up a five year chart. The line goes straight down for the last four years. Most satisfying. You can do the same thing for Clear Channel, the radio company that owns the syndication rights to Limbugh and has probably the largest number of radio stations clearing his show.
At one time in the late 90's that stock was trading in the 90's. Now it's just over 30 and no splits.

The NYT has published the street addresses of Cheney and Rumsfeld's summer homes.
In the "Escapes" section of the June 30 edition, the N.Y. Times printed huge color photos of the vacation residences of Cheney and Rumsfeld, "identifying the small Maryland town where they live, showing their front driveways and, in Rumsfeld's case, actually pointing out the hidden security camera in case any hostile intruders should get careless," Horowitz writes.
Times Travel section writer Peter Kilborn even makes sure enemies of the two men will know such details as where Mrs. Rumsfeld shops in the eastern shore town of St. Michaels, Md. where the two administration officials have weekend retreats.
He even lets the curious know what street the Cheneys and Rumsfelds have to use to get to their own road.
It's all part of the war against President Bush, Horowitz charges.

In fairness, many stocks are down for that time period. Still, there is no denying that NYT is in trouble!

To see the Inquirer actually print a cartoon taking out after the Quisling Times is in itself amazing. Emailers , letters to the ed. in as many papers available should not stop. Educating the sleepy public on this treason is a necessity. As much as it is to publish every Dem-lib treasonous statement, Durbin, Waters, Pelosi, Reid et al. Since most of the public gets its news from the MSM, it is a necessity to show them a true, alternative reality from the Left.

Agreed, but to simply point out the slimes, because they have a liberal bent is disingenious if other media companies are down.
Look at Salem media which is 100% conservative content.

The Nazis were the totalitarians the NYT could oppose. However, they were covering up Stalin's crimes back in the 1930s and Walter Duranty won a Pulitzer Prize for his "coverage" of the Soviet Union.

Thanks to the cartoonists who understand aiding the enemy in time of war is wrong.
It can't be easy for these guys to stick- it to the people who sign their paychecks... Many thanks.

I hope Muslims don't go on a global jihad over this. We all know what happens when one of their icons is lampooned in cartoons.

Thanks for the thread, Dems_R_Losers.
We should save all of these on our hard drives because you know they'll be gone soon.

Thanks. I posted this for two reasons: first, I think it is very significant that major editorial cartoonists are ridiculing the "newspaper of record," this is not just a Rovian attack by the rightwing noise machine. Second, I happen to believe making a laughingstock of the New York Times is the worst thing we can do to it. Trying it for treason only makes it a martyr for the freedom of the press and makes the Administration look fascistic. In this case, we should be following the sage advice of the late Lee Atwater, who said when your opponent is committing political suicide, don't save him - just get out of the way.
