I'm glad the bishops are taking time do discuss this issue. However, I think this position needs to be re-emphasized at the pulpit. There are so many "Catholics" who through ignorance support programs that threaten the unborn: invitro, cloning, e.s.r., and even abortion. These people need Church law HAMMERED into their puny brains, and I think that if priests talked more about these matters in their homilies, support from many Catholics for these issues would drastically fall.
