It's very smart stratgey to try to influence a huge voting block. What should Rove do, tell them to go to hell? Rove has been extremely successful at winning campaigns because he does think like a perturbed little child.
Yeah, gotta do what it takes to get votes and "influence a huge voting block"...

What did you expect them to do? Tell that "huge voting block" to go to hell?
