Hope you have a large turnout on the 10th. This bump is for the Tri-State Chapter!

Thanks, Angelwood! Wish we could have joined forces somehow for this one, but this way you guys can host the DC speakers and we'll host ours. Good luck on Monday.

What about the WSJ bureau? And the Post?

Don't forget the L.A. Times. Oh, that's right, the New York Times ran with it first. That's a good excuse. /s

The NYT was the first to commit treason. All others followed.

If you were playing follow the leader, and the leader jumped off the 14th Street Bridge, would you follow him? "The Times did it First" is a flimsy excuse.

I recently subscribed to the internet version of the WSJ for a year. I'm not going to ask for my money back; I'll just wait until it's time to renew, then say no thanks and explain why. I bet it pisses them off when people continue to shun them a year from now! HA!

However, years ago when Angelwood and Marylander were protesting the NY Times, they were egged by NY Times workers who threw eggs at them from the windows of their offices seven floors above them.

Did the reporters look anything like this guy?

Yes, we are. Afterward, we'll take a break and then go have fun with Cindy Sheehan and Code Pink.

We've also printed that one and several others (two each) from the two NYT threads. They are roughly 15" x 20".

So if someone doesn't have time to make a poster, there will extra posters at the Times rally.

[Mrs] T will bring them on Monday. I can't go, spent too much time printing and mounting the dozen or so posters.

Quick question - are you the author of the 30" x 40" red lettered "Rumsfeld Yes - al Zarqawi No" poster? If so, any chance of getting it back to you so you can put Zarqawi's replacement on it. Not permanently, who knows how long he'll be around.

No, that one about Rummy & Al Zarq is NOT mine. I don't recall seeing it.

BUMP

I am pleased to see the support for her...does she have a good chance to beat him? ...with the local voters?

Yes, Diana has a "good" chance to beat him. Coop has some statistics he could share with you about voting in the district, but momentum is building in the district even while us outside are providing increasing support. She needs all the financial help she can get from outside. She is knocking on doors and doing her best inside the District. If you know of anyone who might contribute, please contact them.
