Back in my day, we didn't have none o' your fancy 'lectric toasters. Our toasters were giant coal-burning beasts, like this one--carved from pure American steel!

When it toasted a slice of bread, by gar, it stayed toasted!

I must admit the toaster we have is the first one we ever had.

Before that we used to use the grill on the cooker (broiler) another different name between Britain and the US - :0).

If you want to do toasted cheese you cannot use a toaster !!

In all my nearly 31 years I've never had toast spontaneously untoast itself. ;-)
