Actually,, the story itself is pretty funny, and I'd probably have a field day with it on most days. Today, though, there are such serious issues facing us, I was a little surprised that he would spend so much time on it.

Having said that, though, sometimes laughter is the best antidote to the ills of the world. And since I have a pretty sick and silly sense of humor myself, I can relate.

I, personally, don't find the story offensive, but that's just me. I don't find a fellow with a lightbulb in his bottom that offensive. I save my umbrage for Condi Rice who called on Israel this am, to "show restraint".

I wonder if she realizes just how idiotic that sounds? An 18 yr old kid is murdered by terrorists...a soldier is kidnapped....a senior citizen is kidnapped, and additionally, there is a report that there have been more kidnappings that have not been publicized.

So my comment was made in light of this.

Does Barak Osama Obama Abama Binama really think that if Democrats start talking like Evangelical Christians that Christians will vote for them? Democrats will STILL be anti-life (pro-choice), and STILL be pro gay marriage, and STILL be for partial birth abortions and embryonic stem cell research, and STILL be against prayer in school. Courting Evangelicals will NOT help democrats because the democrats will STILL be against the main issues that are of key importance to real Christians.

It already astounds me that so many so called "Christians" vote democrat given the Democrats stand on abortion and gay marriage and prayer and the other issues that are key to real Christian Ideology and the Democrat party opposes. They already have the "Christains" that put the Democrat party before their Christian beliefs. The yellow dog Democrats that claim to be Christians are the only Christians the democrats will get. If they try appealing to evangelicals they'll only offend those same evangelicals and drive them more to the Republican party.
