Asheri shot in head Sunday immediately after abduction
Jerusalem Post ^ | 6/28/06

The Popular Resistance Committees said early Thursday that it executed 18-year-old Eliyahu Asheri, an Israeli settler kidnapped earlier in the week in the West Bank.

The group, which has links to the ruling Hamas, had threatened to execute the Israeli if Israel did not halt its invasion of Gaza.

Earlier Wednesday, Israel's fears came true Wednesday when a spokesman for the PRC in the Gaza Strip revealed an authentic copy of missing teenager Asheri's identity card to the press, confirming claims that he had been kidnapped.

In an effort to garner information about Asheri's whereabouts, the police's elite counterterrorist squad raided a home in Ramallah in the afternoon and arrested a fugitive. Publication of his identity was barred.

While the PRC gave no indication as to Asheri's well-being, it reiterated an earlier threat to kill him if the IDF did not immediately withdraw its forces from the Gaza Strip.

A spokesman for the group told Al-Jazeera that Asheri, 18, would be "butchered in front of TV cameras" if the IDF operation in Gaza did not stop. "Our patience is running out," he said.

"I am announcing for the first time that the kidnapped Zionist Israel is searching for is the same settler who is being held by us. He is aged 181⁄2... and is a soldier in a pre-military academy," said the spokesman, who identified himself as Abu Abir.

Eliahu's parents, Miriam and Yitro Asheri, remained in their home in Itamar in the company of friends and army officers. Miriam emerged only once to talk to reporters.

"I hope they'll look after him and treat him as he deserves," she said. "We really request that they return him to us alive." She also requested his captors provide them with "a sign of life."

Asheri's absence was not immediately reported. His disappearance was only noted after he failed to appear for a hike planned by the pre-military academy of Neveh Tsuf, where he had been studying. Rabbi Haim Druckman, Asheri's grandfather, said he first heard of his disappearance Tuesday.

"They saw in the morning that he hadn't arrived, so they started worrying," Druckman said. "The situation was not immediately clear, so security forces requested that no one be notified."

The family was afraid but hopeful, he said, adding, "They're feeling what every person would naturally feel in this situation. They're very worried and afraid, especially now that it's obvious that he was kidnapped."

Despite their worry, he said, "there's great hope that he will return safely... We are helping however we can, and the only way is to pray."

Druckman described Asheri as "a great kid, very responsible, very serious and sensitive... He was at his greatest, blossoming and very happy." Rabbi Avi Ronsky, head of Itamar's yeshiva, said Asheri was a very introverted teenager, who had a tendency to go off on his own. For that reason, the family was not immediately suspicious of his disappearance, he said.

Moshe Goldsmith, the community's secretary, said the family had been briefed by OC Samaria Col. Yuval Bazak, who told them that there were clear signs that Asheri had been kidnapped but that authorities were still unsure of the exact details.

Eliahu is the eldest of five children, and his parents have been living in Itamar since 1991. His father immigrated from Melbourne, Australia. An Australian diplomat based in Ramallah said the Australian embassy had approached the family, offered assistance and had been in contact with the Palestinian Authority, but had no details about Asheri, who does not hold Australian citizenship.

But Asheri's kidnapping did not seem to deter hitchhikers in Samaria. "We're not afraid; we're not going to let them win," said a hitchhiker on his way to the Tapuah junction. "Anyway, waiting for buses takes too long."

Let the butchering begin, cleanse Israel of all Muslims forever.

That sounds little different from something Hamas would say.

Pig Payload - B52 Bomber

A B52G/H can carry and deliver 293,000 pounds. The ideal weight for a pig is around 255 pounds. A B52G/H could carry a maximum of 1149 hogs (with the average weight of 255 pounds). You may want to check my math. I went to a public school system.

I'm off to go figure the splatter rate of a 255 pound pig that was dropped from a B52 at 50,000 feet.

And we can call the Air Wing the Fling Pigs!

The Palestinians are a terrorist people. They elected Hamas into power because they worship death----they deserve whatever Hell Israel wishes to visit upon them.

So this is what "appeasement" has wrought. It made me sick to see Israelis bulldozing their own settlements in Gaza. Can't they see that nothing short of their extermination is going to be acceptable to these monsters??

Another way to look at the evacuation of Gaza is that it now clears the way for Israel to mount an awsome attack with all guns blazing without harming Israeli settlers.

It also reflects to the world what a Palestinian nation will look like. The Gaza arabs are telling the world that they can't live in peace with anyone, including themselves.

The death of the Israeli boy needs to be avenged. It is now the time to wipe Syria and the PA off the face of the earth

It is VERY different.
Do you think fighting , and destroying, cancer is as bad as the cancer itself? Killing it is as bad as it killing you?

Destroying evil is good. Fighting against, and destroying, evil where we find it is what good is supposed to do!
Allowing evil to exist and flourish, encouraging it, is what HamAss does. Islam is evil.
To destroy it serves the good.

Killing all terrorists is good, but ethnic cleansing is not. To practice and encourage it is to destroy any moral advantage we have over the terrorists, since the difference between us and them is that we kill the people who threaten us, while they kill innocent civilians.

I think you'd first have to make the case that there are innocent civillians there.

I pray that this PRC statement turns out to be false. But if it turns out to be true, may the Lord grant this young man's soul rest and peace and comfort to his family.

And may the IDF come down on the serpents that did the evil deed and send their sorry selves to a very hot place.

So What REALLY Happened to Eliyahu?
by Emperor Darth Misha I

LC Scott is kind enough to inform us, pointing us to a source that ISN’T known for a pathological hatred of Jooos:

OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh revealed Thursday morning that the youth had been shot in the head immediately after the kidnapping on Sunday.

Sort of puts the whole “we’re going to shoot him unless you stop your rescue operation” statement in perspective, doesn’t it, particularly since the palestinian pigs issued that statement long after they’d already murdered him.

Now is the time for the IDF to have a Ghengis Khan moment. Start at one end and push forward(through Gaza) destroying everything in their path. The Egyptians (being the good-natured Arab brethren that they are) have sealed the other end to disallow the fleeing palesimians from crossing their border. This sets up a brick wall to smash the remnants of the fleeing demons against. Like a blue and white wave crushing debris against the rocks. Good riddance to these evil bastards.

Or maybe a Walt Kurtz moment:

“We must kill them. We must incinerate them. Pig after pig. Cow after cow. Village after village. Army after army.”

Since terrorists like Hamas routinely use women as shields and children as scouts, there is likely to be unfortunate collateral damage (to borrow the military phrase that I can't improve on).

That western nations try to avoid such deaths is an attitude the muslims exploit to their advantage.

We can't tie our hands completely in our efforts to be cautious. *hit happens, especially in war.

Killing all terrorists is good, but ethnic cleansing is not.

You are young aren't you?

I'll agree with you ethic cleansing is wrong but if you will look you will find it is the Islamics that practice it so efficiently.

Anyhow, if Israel or us for that matter kill just those Muslims that hate and want to and will destroy them and us if they can, then that will be 95% of them.

The others are not true Muslims and are being eliminated by those that are.

Fortunately for them and us, we don't have to kill that 95% ,just enough and as quickly as we can to convince the others that we will do so at the drop of a hat anytime it is necessary.

They and those that support them [especially the Saudis] need to be severely and harshly dealt with and re-educated not negotiated with, given recognition, aid or a state.

All you have to do is cut off the water, electricity and food completely for as long as it takes for them to bring every weapon in the country and lay it at your feet.

Unfortunately for them and us we have no world leaders with the guts or who are not under the influence of oil money or political aspirations, that are capable of providing the proper leadership.
