The House wimped out in a resolution condemning the leaking of confidential tracking of terrorist through their financial records . House Resolution 895 said
The house of Reps wimped out on condemning and revealing the act of treason by the NY Times and (LA Times)publising confidential tracking of terrorist finances through SWIFT. As a palliative act, they passed a limp HR 895, which says: "Supporting intelligence and law enforcement programs to track terrorists and terrorist finances conducted consistent with Federal law and with appropriate Congressional consultation and specifically condemning the disclosure and publication of classified information that impairs the international fight against terrorism and needlessly exposes Americans to the threat of further terror attacks by revealing a crucial method by which terrorists are traced through their finances."
No naming of the newspapers, no prosecution of the violation of a law against revealing secret information in time of war or imminent threat.
Call the wimps and let them know that's how we view them: 202 224-2131

The table has been set by the Judith Miller jailing...and they media BEGGED for the investigation that led up to it...now we need to get to the bottom of the REAL CRIMES...TREASON!! ESPIONAGE!! COUP PLOTTING!!
Sorry I repeated, repeated. I crafted the draft too fast and didn't see the result.
Call tomorrow...call the RNC...call the White House to ask for an investigation on the LEAKERS....this is dangerous stuff if the Republicans are just paper tigers!
Scairdy cats.
That fat imbecile Hastert is to blame for this, they have something on him.

Our "Representatives" have been letting the American people down for decades now. But never so quickly as this Congress. We had false hopes in thinking the Republicans would make a difference. There is no valor in Washington. There are no more Republicans.
:o(
They wimped out because I would bet they have an idea who leaked the info and it's one of them.
Where oh where is the FR "Gimme an R!" squad?
I was looking forward to the new dance routine!
The Republicans are all a bunch of cowards. It's a shame our only choice is between them and the Dem's.
Sorry. I typed wrong number to the House of Reps:
it is 202 224 3121. Couldn't get through yesterday but did this morning. Tell them we don't want a wimpy resolution that doesn't name the newspapers who put Americans at risk by revealing confidential info how we track terrorists. We want a resolution THAT NAMES SPECIFIC PERPETRATORS OF THIS ILLEGAL ACT !
