A group of 50 pro-Israel Christian tourists came under attack Wednesday from some 100 residents of the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Mea She'arim in Jerusalem. Three of the tourists and a police officer were wounded in the attack. They received treatment at the scene. The tourists arrived at Mea She'arim wearing orange T-shirts with the words "Love your neighbor as yourself" printed across them. As they neared one of the squares, the local residents apparently identified them as Christians and began to hit them. Police forces in the area stepped in to stop the violence, but did not make any arrests. Police say they are waiting for the tourists to file official complaints.

Your mouth wonders a lot doesn't it. And as is the case with blinachka -it incites/insults, doesn't it.
And you have one another thing in common with blinachka -like two peas in a pod-
-you come across to the reader -as being unstable/and out of bounds.
Was it something from childhood? Was it so traumatic that you were scarred for life? It would explain certain things. Relax and tell us what happened to you that causes you to associate unwelcomed Christian intrusions with sadomasochism?
Yes.
Not a single person defended these Jews here. All of us Jews have clearly written that they are a sect that gets along with no one.
But it is obvious that the fault here was shared.
"Look, the folks in Meah Shearim are the Jewish equivalent of the Fred Phelps Christians"
Bing. Bing. Bing. We have a winner.
Yeah, whatever..
I ditto your post #284.
I know you don't think I'm an honest poster any more than I'm a loyal American.
I think it's hate site BS, but I'll ask.
AM, why was the poster banned?
Very strange
BTW, you need to update your Jew ping list. Some of those folk haven't posted here in years.
There's nothing I've ever heard of that prevents a Christian from filing assault charges. Or defending himself for that matter.
Not filing charges is a mistake which encourages abberent behaivior, and gives life to the idea they were partially at fault.
A strange incident, and though I have some understanding for the attacks on my fellow-citizens, it´s in no way excusable to use violence in a modern country. I´m glad that it wasn´t reported in our media, and I hope it will be kept low.
Now let´s hope that Israel can send signals of strength to the PA and Hamas. To Israel: Don´t bend, don´t break!
Which is why civilized countries should ban soccer.
It seems violence is almost always the post game show.
Have you followed the World Cup Soccer in Germany? It´s going on right now. And I´m here. It´s a great atmosphere, there´s no violence, no aggression.
Instead, people are having a big party, simply great.
Ok, there has been trials to disturb that party, most notably in Stuttgart, but the police has everything under control.
Germany discovers patriotism: people are waving/displaying flags and sing our national anthem.
Some commentators already say "Germans celebrate themselves. And the world is cordially invited to join them!"
And please don´t mention the war, we´re the new, modern, free, democratic Germany - a member in the league of the good! ;-)
I'm an American. I have a God given right not to follow soccer. ;-)
Bull! That is absolutely untrue! I suggest that you talk to some average Israelis or to Christians who have actually been to Israel.
FYI, the ultra-orthodox "black hat" set are frickin nuts! They are a very small minority in Israel and elsewhere, and some of them actively support the arabs. They consider most other Jews to be gentiles because they don't wear their crazy black get-ups, etc.
"Anti-Christian bigotry is rife in Israel but we're not supposed to talk about it on FR."
Dang! Anyway. If you had been here, you would have seen that soccer´s "third half-time" is a peaceful party - after all, we´re not the Brits, are we?? ;-) /forgive me, my British fellow-Europeans, he he
True.
Unfortunately, that was/is true.
