Hey Snarlen Arlen Specter:
The Jerk store called and they are all out of YOU!
Good thing they still have their all time top-seller McLame on the shelf.
*sorry for Thread jumping* Seinfeld joke that just seemed to fit headline ;)

Rice beer can't be sold as beer in Germany. It doesn't meet the beer purity law of 1516.

They could, if they could actually get around to making something resembling beer.

Exactly. Normally I'd never say anything in favor of Europe over the US, but when it comes to beer and cars, the Germans are the leaders.

Wish we had the same law here. Sometimes I wouldn't be too far off if Bud isn't more than PCB laced/flavored rice water and Miller is PCB flavored/laced corn water.

Houston must never, ever, ever host a World Cup.

Never.

These are dire consequences indeed.

kinda weird to see lousy Bud getting a premium price as a foreign beer.

The GF of a buddy of mine in Cologne, Germany ran a pub. For a while in the late 90's they sold American beer, including Budweiser, and charged a premium for it. It was briefly popular until her customers realized that it was far inferior to the homegrown stuff.

This is what happens when a Brit gets a real taste of great beer---not that watered down version they have. Ein Prosit---Ein Prosit!!

".There already was a Budweiser Beer in Germany from centuries ago, so what we know as Bud is sold there as Anheiser-Busch........."

I have had good German beer. I suspect that if anyone is buying Anheuser Busch beer in Germany, they are using to wash dishes.
