Get it through you head Guy. -- You majority rule prohibitionists are Constitutionally ~wrong~.

You have no delegated power to prohibit. [see the 10th] -- You never have had that power.

We the people allow reasonable regulations on life, liberty, or property to be written & enforced if they conform to constitutional due process. [see the 14th]

what part of the Constitution again was it that banned people from making new laws by vote and through elected officials?

Read much? The 14th stops State & local governments from depriving "any person of life, liberty, or property without due process of law".
Reasonable regulations about 'sinful behavior' can be written & enforced if they conform to constitutional due process. -- Prohibitions violate due process.

Because we have banned things the minority like Libertarians might have preferred like SLAVERY, but a majority seemed to force a change of a minority view when it is disruptive or dangerous to society.

Your syntax in that comment is so strange I won't bother to try to decipher it. -- But are you hinting that libertarians "preferred SLAVERY"? -- Downright weird idea.

Get it through your mind, you are not living on a barren island like the 1700s were.
Many foolish things you like doing could have effects on the equal rights of other citizens.

Laws of many kinds came about to handle the fact we live in higher populations.

If you wanted to go to a private island, you could go get high on crack while drunk all you want and bark at the moon in your yard.

Facts are that we are not in the America of the 1700, we live in high density times and laws are here because of that.

If we were far in the past when it was barren, there would be no drug, alcohol, speed, environmental, health and safety laws.
All those things came about for the survival of freedom in large modern populations.

Laws which we have due process of were written since the 1700s were written to survive the 2000s.

A minority loved slavery and it took a battle with the majority to change that. Majorities are good often, but we have three branches for balance.
The Judicial can sometimes make a ruling one way or other.
Sometimes the President signs a special order all-by-himself for the good of us all.
