Limbaugh's doctor had prescribed the Viagra, but it was "labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes," Roy Black, Limbaugh's attorney, said in a statement.

It's a perfectly legitimate explanation. This article is nothing more than excuse to run the whole story about Rush again. The Slimes just doesn't catch on that their smear tactics and what they consider "news" these days is alienating more and more people everyday.

This is not a perfectly legitimate explanation; it is in violation of federal law, as every prescription this law applies to must say right on the label, "Caution: Federal Law prohibits transfer of this prescription to anyone except the person named.". Both the doctor and patient are in trouble in this case; there is no way that the doctor doesn't know this; he'd have been in prison long ago... BTW, I don't agree with the law, it is stupid, but isn't right to pretend that Rush or the Doc are in the right here legally... morally, yeah, but not legally.

It's a perfectly legitimate explanation.

How so? What privacy concerns? Have both Rush and the doctor never heard of HIPPA?
