FYI, there is a male child named "Forrest" each generation who is a direct descendant of Nathan Bedford Forrest. The current one is an infant, but his namesake uncle would not take kindly to anyone picking on the little guy as he gets older.

When parents get cute with the spelling (or worse, pronunciation), they sentence their kids to a entire life time of correcting people and misspelled documents, awards and the like.
