The Sheriffs department just violated Rush's rights under Hipaa for disclosing the medication after they had information that a doctor had prescribed the drug regardless who's name was on the bottle.

The Sheriffs department just violated Rush's rights under Hipaa for disclosing the medication after they had information that a doctor had prescribed the drug regardless who's name was on the bottle. HIPAA is only good for making patients fill out a lot of extra paperwork during medical visits. The government can grab all the private information they want and trumpet it for political purposes all they want.
I think they should take every one of those Customs officers at that location, make them stand in cold water for an hour, then publish naked pictures of them on Rush's website.
