Limbaugh Detained At Airport Image
Joy Purdy Reporting
(CBS4 News) WEST PALM BEACH Sources have confirmed to CBS4 News that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been detained at Palm Beach International Airport for the possible possession of illegal prescription drugs Monday evening.
Limbaugh was returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic when officials found the drugs, among them Viagra.
Limbaugh entered a plea deal back in April in a previous case where his charge of fraud to conceal information to obtain prescriptions was dropped under the condition he continue undergoing treatment for addiction.
Limbaugh had admitted to being addicted to pain killers on his radio program and had entered a rehabilitation program prior to that arrest.

Great scenery and story line. It will probably be Duvalls last western
Duvall commented that he considered it the third in a trilogy: Lonesome Dove, Open Range and now, Broken Trail. I've got it tivo'd for viewing all at once. Can't wait.

Yes, he hinted that it would be his last western.
Did you ever see "Second Hand Lions" with Duvall and Michael Caine? That also is an excellent film; so good we bought it to watch over and over again. Same thing in that movie...good characters, good scenery, etc.

durasell has suggested that it might be civilian employees of the airport.
Maybe, but I posted that there was a lot of detailed information for a janitor to overhear.
In any case, somebody acted unprofessionally.

Do you guys -- coming from vastly different perspectives --fail to see the humor in this story? I do, it's sort of funny. I just think there are people who are using it to pound the hell out of Rush for other reasons...

Then under the circumstances, and in the interest of tasteful humor, I would suggest we don't use the term "ditto head" in this thread....

I apologize for using the phrase "pound the hell out of". It was not appropriate given the circumstances...

Yes, I have seen Second Hand Lions. Enjoyed it. I can say I have never seen a Duvall movie that I have not enjoyed. His subtle expressions, especially in Broken TRail and Lonesome Dove, remind me of my mothers' father. Few words. Everything he said was for a reason. Didn't say anything if he had nothing in particular to say. Quiet unassuming hero types. Duvall, as Gus, or in Broken Trail, always had mischevious side to him and he never got too far away from it, though he often used his mischieviousness to make a serious point.
From the greenist pastures to the packing house, from eternity to eternity.

...it's okay, I'm sure that whatever charge they bring up, Rush will beat it.

Gee whillikers, I'm an hour and a half late on the breaking news as usual and 500+ posts.
Do I have this right? Somehow Rush was stopped in customs and some viagra with his doctors name on the bottle, labled that way for privacy concerns (guess it didn't work) was seen and he was questioned for a couple of hours.
Is that about it? thanks.

The left is after rush - again. Rush is after Rush again...he would have to be an idiot not to know that that airport would go through his stuff.
I think Rush has some issues about wanting to be caught.
I never would have thought that, but there's too much in his life that shows he's punishing himself for something. Almost like he "doesn't deserve" the massive success he has had.
I dunno...I ain't a shrink...but if it were my brother...I'd be noting the warning signs.

Besides, if I dislike him, isn't a thread about his doper butt getting busted a good place to express my gladness about it? Detained in customs isn't exactly "busted". You can be detained in customs for having a piece of fruit in your bag.

If Rush did this -- and that's a huge IF -- he's a complete idiot. Or he is addicted or maybe even "worse" he likes this stuff :) I do not like much what Rush says on radio, but why don't leave him ALONE?
