Should we wonder if the rat was able to think new thoughts?
The 'rats have never had a new thought.

Been there and done it also and agree with you 100%. What researchers believe is a smoky mirror that keeps them from seeing the truth of some peoples problems.

IMO the next twenty years will bring an absolutely asounding series of cures from paralasis to cancer to alsheimers and other maladies. I'm really encouraged and convinced that we are on the verge of some amazing times.

Just like when I see double sometimes, now I'm writing double to match it. ARRRGGGGHHHHHHH, drugs for pain can ruin the mind over time.

It sucks, doesn't it? It takes me forever just to write a sentence. I switch my words around, misspell, and sometimes writing a paragraph is torture and when I go back to re-read it, it sometimes makes no sense. I have also offended a few people (not meaning to) because what sounds okay to me, they are horrified. LOL

Ping me when my brain can transplant itself. Anything 13 years old and up would most likely be an improvement.

The guy is David McCallum who was in Man from U.N.C.L.E.. Whoah! Ever hear of Synchronicity (besides the Police album)?
While we were posing I was watching L&O and the episode featured... David McCallum!!!

Thanks for posting this NeverDem. Have a brain/neuro ping list? Should we start one?I have a stem cell list, and I have a health & science list who also get the former. The latter is mostly about medicine with a fair amount of science, basic and applied.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Evil people in Russia and China will use this knowlege to synthesize people and create new diseases. It will be a nightmare, most likely.

Ahh, but just think, while you were reading this article about brain cells building up their numbers, you could have been watching 'Flowers For Algernon' ... now THAT would have been synchronicity!

I can vouch for this study.
I've witnessed quite a few liberals become conservatives in my lifetime.

There is no such thing as a glass being half empty. The problem is, the glass is just to big.
