you may be right - the tide may be turning...I was in a small bookstore today, buying a book for a granddaughter, and overheard a conversation between a lady and the store owner.
It proceeded like this:
Lady (L): "I just visited my mother - she's in an assisted living facility - and she asked me if this global warming was real. I told her absolutely it is.
"Then she asked me if Bush is lying. I told her yes. But I need to educate her on all his lies. I can't find your anti-Bush books. Could you show me a good one to start with?" (I was stunned that she actually used the term "anti-Bush." Not too subtle!)
Owner (O)- a little hesitant, "Well, ah, I don't know if I have anything that would..."
"L", interrupting: "You mean you don't have ANY anti-Bush books at all!"
"O": "Not that I can think of at..."
"L": "Why not!?
"O": (gently) "Well, I have had some in the past but they just don't sell so I had to send them back to the publisher."
"L" ...voice starting to show irritation and the owner interjected with: "Perhaps you could find some at ..." and named another store.
This whole thing was such a sea change for me that I could hardly believe I had heard such an exchange. I'm used to walking into a book store and having to be careful not to fall over the prominent anti-bush display tables.
Bottom line is, if these books aren't selling well anymore, even the big stores, dedicated to Bush-bashing, wont keep stocking them if the money drops off. (Libs turn on one another if their own toes get pinched.)
Maybe the Bush-Bashing books will go the way of lib talk radio/TV??? It would seem there aren't enough listeners, readers, to support them.

Don't get me started on how I feel about Yankees in general, and those inside the Beltway and in the Five Buroughs in particular. I'm starting to wonder about folks in Iowa and Pennsylvania. WTF is up with Harkin and Murtha?

I believe in Old Testament war, kill them all and let God sort them out. We should move through the Middle East like locusts leaving nothing behind us, not even pot shards.
Until we get smart enough to conduct war, like war, I don't want to see any boy I know join any branch of the service. Little wonder enlistment is down.
