Former Vice President Al Gore takes a moment from signing books to return a wave to Heather Sutton, right, Friday, June 23, 2006, in Nashville, Tenn. Gore got the same question at a hometown book signing Friday that he gets all over the world when pitching his documentary and book on global warming. Will he run for president in 2008? "I'm not planning on it, but thanks for encouraging me," was the pat answer given by Gore at the first signing for the book in his home state of Tennessee.

Nearly 800 people lined up at the Davis-Kidd bookstore, In other words, every Tennessean that voted for Al to be president, also showed up to get his book.

(The fact that they can't find Hoffa is proof that he never existed.)

every Tennessean that voted for Al to be president, also showed up to get his book I'm surprised, I would have thought the line would have been longer if every Tennessean that voted for Al showed up. Oh....Bad.....Now I know why the line was shorter. The dead voters weren't able to get to the book signing.

In 2000 if Gore could have won his own state he would have been POTUS.
Thank you Tennessee.

I like the people in the background just shopping like nothing's going on.
"Hello! Former vice-president over here! Winner of the popular vote for president! Hello? Want me to tell you some things about global warming? It's a scary tale, I think you'll agree. Twenty percent off my book if you come over here now..."

That girl better watch out as Tennessee has plenty of tourist caves. Gore might think Manbearpig is in all of them.

Al Gore is an Idiot First Class.
His book is a boatload of crap.
He could probably draw a bigger crowd at theNational Zoo's Monkey house.

The book signing followed one of his slideshow presentations.

I thought that the acrid smell in my house was from the fire that I started bu accidentally rubbing a piece of steel wool over an electrical outlet. Now I know better.

They weren't encouraging you Al.
The good folks of Tennessee just want another chance to keep him away from the white house.

Our local rag here in Nashville, the Tennessean, did one of those online polls about how well Boy Al would do here in another run at the White House. If I remember correctly, it was in the neighborhood of 70% saying "No" to Al - again.

Mow if we can just get rid of all of the Fords.
Jr. lost his cool on Neil Cavuto last night.
Looked just like Daddy Ford.

3 different personalities in 3 different Presidential debates. Come on, even the staunchest gorebot has to admit that's a bit bizarre.

I don't think Jr. will have much success outside of Memphis and maybe the hard Dem inner city areas of Nashville or Chattanooga.

Lets hope he decides to run again....we know how to beat him!! Do you think all the Military who had their votes taken away by this guy would be interested in seeing him go down!!?? It just might be a landslide defeat bigtime!! The DNC never runs a loser the second time...smart they aren't, but action decides the issue and that is hard to miss.
