I heard that during the able body people on welfare debate, ABC or one of their ilk got jobs for twelve able bodied welfare to prove welfare to work was a good idea.
Eleven of the twelve refused the jobs because they were too good to do real work.

The other day I was really bored and I was on the CNN web site ( I know, shame) and I noticed that their headline was. Earth is the warmest in 400 years. Just a few minutes later CNN changed the headline to, Earth warmest in 2000 years. CNN must think their readers are idiots. It wasn't run away human air pollution that caused the earth to be warmer 400 or 2000 years ago. I guess it would be news for the geniuses at CNN that the warming might be within the range of natural variation.
Even more dangerous then a scientist with an agenda is a network news channel that filters the news through its leftest liberal bias.

According to one article I read the other day, 400 years is the furtherest back that they have definitive evidence of climate data (records, cores, tree rings, whatever). They said that some evidence of this being the warmest period goes back to 2000 years. So its not that it was warmer 400 or 2000 years ago, but those are the dates beyond which they don't have good data.
Of course global climate change is constant and mainly due to changes in the sun's output, volcano's, etc. I still believe that man's impact is not quantifiable given the other variations and uncertainty.

Thats a good point. Man's pollution is just one of numerous inputs into the global weather. We flatter ourselves if we think that the faith of the earth is linked to our burning of oil. If the earth was just as warm 400 or 2000 years ago as it is now that suggests a natural process.
We have never had as many cows on the earth out gassing methane as we do now. Nor have we had as many liberal gas bags blowing smoke.
