We COULD send them the 900 Million dollars they say they need OR we could send them some pamplets (the cost of which would be say $10.00) detailing the dangers of humans and poultry being in such close proximity. I'm in a quandry and can't decide which way to go on that one.

"The World Health Organization has detailed the first evidence that the deadly bird flu virus mutated and spread from person to person within a family, but experts said Friday the genetic change does not increase the threat of a pandemic." If it has indeed mutated into a human-to-human transmitted disease then it has become a very dangerous virus. If this story is true, watch for a great many more reports of people having this flu.

"It's now in Canada!" No, they just slaughtered a bunch of birds (in B.C.) as a precaution. It turned out to be a different flu strain. But it's only a matter of time before it makes it's way into the migratory flocks in North America.

Pennsylvania has already created a vaccince successful against all known strains of bird flu. Funny how the media hasn't taken that news and 'flown' with it.
If these people cooked their meat long enough in the first place we might not be looking at this mess.
