I am an addicted Freeper.

Here I find more about what is going on in the world than any other place I can imagine. To me this is the best site on the Internet. If it became a subscription or fee based site I would probably pay for a while but the quality of the site would deteriorate quickly. Not everyone who posts now would pay the fee and we would lose the eyes and ears we once had, eventually we would be deaf and blind and there would be little reason for any of us to be here.

If there were some kind of "icon" or other "title" that would allow those of us that donated a small amount to use when we posted perhaps we would all be inclined to donate more frequently. There are a lot of us here mostly lurking around, a small amount from a lot of us would probably go a long way.
