A question had crossed my mind before. If grape vines can mature in the Ozarks, why can't they mature in England? Thank you for the links. Most of us wouldn't have otherwise known.

I did some research. There was indeed a falling off of vineyards after a peak in the medieval warm period, although in the last couple of centuries the climate started warming up again and the vineyards made a come back.

They really can't go after China for greenhouse gases because China is big enough to do whatever it pleases. But China appears to go along with the science because they know it reduces the industrial, economic might of the enemy in America and improves their stature.
