When does the monsoon season start?

Traditionally, it starts between the 2nd and 7th of July, give or take a week.

This year it may have started earlier. We have had several rainy days, now. After nearly 10 years of drought, I think we're due to have a long monsoon. What say you, Connie?

Oh, right. The Phoenix area monsoon comes from a different direction, and typically starts a bit later than ours. It can include some fantastic wind/dust storms, too.
