While Jimmy Carter has fared better in the public imagination as an ex-President than he did as Commander in Chief, his rather colorful brother Billy passed away in 1988 at age 51 from pancreatic cancer. We were very young when Carter was pres, but we do, in the dark recesses of our mind, remember the hubbub about Billy Beer (which we didn’t understand back then; all we heard was “beer.” Mmmm…beer…). We don’t, however, remember this pickup, built as a full-size version of a Revell model kit. Click over and check it out, and note the sweet in-dash digital clock. I do wish America had a longer memory. We had double digit inflation during that time, interest rates were > 20% and Jimmy Carter wouldn't have stood up for America if they'd knocked on his door. (He'd have probably built th em a house.) What a loser and the MSM gives him a pass. Jerks.

I remember when Billy Carter had some dealings with Omar Khaddafi in Libya. Bob Hope had a line that "the main difference between Jimmy Carter and his brother was that Billy had a foreign policy."
