WHO'S NOT....

1. JIMMY CARTER

Has the preachy peanut farmer from Georgia finally gone too far? Accustomed as Americans have become to Jimmy Carter's counter-productive meddling in international politics, he actually seems to have outdone himself and crossed over the line in his latest depredations.

In recent years, Carter has earned himself global notoriety and a Nobel Peace Prize by traveling the world to embrace dictators, deodorize fraudulent third-world elections, and trash U.S. foreign policy before receptive anti-American overseas audiences. He is admired by European elites almost as much as he is despised back home.

Since the voters booted him out of the White House in the 1980 elections, Carter has cozied up to some of the world's most brutal and corrupt strongmen, from Yasser Arafat to Fidel Castro to Kim il-sung to Hugo Chavez to Jean-Bertrand Aristide and on and on and on. He never met a bloody tyrant he didn't like, or a democracy that he approved of.

But in the past few months, even some of Carter's rabid admirers have to be wondering whether the discredited former president has totally lost it............

That site is promoting the widely known false story about Col. North mentioning Bin Laden before congress during the Iran Contra hearings.

"Claim: During the 1987 Iran-Contra hearings, Oliver North warned Congress that Osama bin Laden was "the most evil person alive" and that "an assassin team [should] be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth."

Status: False."

Some of the bloodiest tyrants in the world regard him as their very own "useful idiot" and play him like a fiddle.

If evil is as evil does, then by any objective standard, Carter is truly an evil man. There is nobody else in living memory whose benign public image so differs from the sordid reality.

It's difficult to think of a worse US President. There's Warren Harding, US Grant, and maybe James Buchanan, after that, Carter's gotta head the list.

The creepy part is that aside from being a terrible and harmful president, it's clear that something is driving him.

There is a dark energy that pushes him, and I at least, find it a mystery that should stimulate more speculation among the media.

What is the basis for Carter's hate, he has even left his church, after a lifetime he left the Southern Baptists about two years ago.

I watched the interview on TV live. North was asked about the fence and its cost. And he was in fear for his family from a certain terrorist whom he named. But I can't remember the name.

..Oliver North....American Patriot

Probably couldn't find a Southern Baptist church that would have him. He'll probably join the Episcopalians. Or maybe the Presbyterians, they're more anti-semitic.

As someone who was a Habitat supervisor on weekends and involved in the Atlanta Jimmy Carter Workproject, let me say all comments on this thread relative to Jimmy Carter's lack of integrity are understatements. He quite probably began as a religous persons using politics; it is certain he is now a political person using religion. That he is egocentric and paranoid is undeniable by anyone who had to deal with him on the work site. He regularly used Habitat for his own political purposes as when he brought Bill Clinton and Al Gore to a site to learn what a hammer looked like. The photo op made it appear they actually were working and it was a poke in the eye to all conservative Republican volunteers. He could have cared less.
