The healing balm of the Massachusetts Messiah will bring the crippled and stricken to their feet, which is more than Kerry's speeches ever do for the able-bodied.ROTFLMAO!
But nobody paid the slightest heed to this line. For all the impact my column had, I might as well have done house calls.
I don't think Steyn lurks on FR, otherwise he would know that all his columns get widely spread and read!

Does anyone out there have a copy of the Zarqawi surrounded by 72 Ann Coulters picture? I'd appreciate a reposting or mailing it to me.
Thanks

Hillary made one statement, then ran for cover after AC's response, and hasn't been heard from since! She can't stand the heat!

Superlative article by one of the great columnists about one of the great columnists.
I'd lately been wondering what MALE personality, politican or reporter or pundit or whatever, came even close to the greatness of Coulter.
Mark Steyn is that man.

A few days later, U.S. Immigration sent Mrs. Gilbey a letter informing her that, as she was now a widow, her residence status had changed and they were enclosing a deportation order. FRICKING UNREAL

Look, he is assualting her...
Good thing for George, Ann was not John Edwards..

Notice how not one liberal politician or Media pundit have complained about the title of her new book?
Very telling in itself.
To: Rummyfan
An equally good comment:
As the author remarks, "If one wanted to cure the lame, one could reasonably start with John Edwards."
To: TexasCajun
That's an excellent point. I think the premise of Ann's book is beyond dispute.

You know, when the government can make someone named "Extremely Extreme Extremist" say, "Fricking unreal", you KNOW there's a problem! ;^)

Having re-read Coulter's text several times, this is beginning to make sense. I have a friend who lives in northern New Jersey, and works in and around the NYC area. He is also--unfortunately, an unabashed Democrat.
When we talked about what happened on 9/11, he acted as if the events belonged to New York, and New York alone. He took a pious position, stating, "How dare you speak of this incident like it somehow belongs to you!"
He went on to proclaim that George Bush shouldn't be using 9/11 to justify his presidential campaign in 2004. "It was the watershed event in the past four years, why wouldn't he run on his actions?" I said.
I had to remind him, the attacks of 9/11 happened to America, not to one particular person or group of people.
Thinking about this, I too, see Ann's point. She's not illogical about her thinking, that's for sure.

Wow, the magnificent Mark Steyn on the redoutable Ann Coulter!
What could be better?
Maybe, Victor Davis Hanson in the mix somewhere?
Can't think of a better trifecta than that.

I got caught in a particularly heated argument on this forum a few days ago with some FReepers angered by Ann Coulter's blunt, take-no-prisoners approach to the Jersey Girls, which those FReepers considered too inflammatory to be productive. (In retrospect, my arguments were too heated and ultimately undone by the sarcastic tone I allowed to creep into the discussion.) Even so, I find it a relief that some of my points echoed Mark Steyn. Mark Steyn is the man, the most articulate, insightful conservative voice out there.
To: RonDog
That was absolutely delicious. Thanks so much for posting it.

Ann Coulter's new book Godless: The Church of Liberalism is a rollicking read very tightly reasoned and hard to argue with.not in chapters eight and nine, it isn't.
