Hu Jintao vs Democrats (Vanity)

In March, President Hu Jintao unveiled the basic tenets of his socialist value system:

1. Love, do not harm the motherland. Serve, don't disserve the people.
2. Uphold science; don't be ignorant and unenlightened.
3. Work hard; don't be lazy and hate work.
4. Be united and help each other; don't gain benefits at the expense of others.
5. Be honest and trustworthy, not profit-mongering at the expense of your values.
6. Be disciplined and law-abiding instead of chaotic and lawless.
7. Know plain living and hard struggle; do not wallow in luxuries and pleasures.

Sounds nice... mostly... but I was wondering if, other than the warnings against "wallowing in luxuries" and "profit-mongering", would Hu Jintao be far Left enough to serve in today's Democrat Party?

And then my mind wanders into whether this comparison might make a good political ad in October. =^)

Let's compare:

Hu: "Love, do not harm the motherland."
Dems: Dissent is patriotic, global problems are America's fault (and America must apologise and pay), do not drill for oil but do not build any nuclear reactors (and complain when energy prices rise)

Hu: "Uphold science; don't be ignorant and unenlightened."
Urban Dems: Oreos like Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice should stop acting white.

Hu: "Work hard; don't be lazy and hate work."
Dems: Let's subsidize sloth with literally hundreds of welfare programs, and lets rant if even the rate of growth of these programs is ever challenged.

Hu: "Be united and help each other; don't gain benefits at the expense of others."
Dems: Use every opportunity to discredit any GOP figure. Use the race card to reinstitute race-based laws. Dissent is patriotic. Keep blacks convinced of hidden and inherent racism whether it exists or not.

Hu: "Be honest and trustworthy, not profit-mongering at the expense of your values. "
Dems: See? Corporate CEO's are ALL evil! Halliburton! Enron! Corporate accouting! Yeah!

Hu: "Be disciplined and law-abiding instead of chaotic and lawless."
Dems: Enforcement of immigration laws is racist. If it feels good, do it (regardless of the law). Discipline is for Fascists, and parents who attempt to discipline their chlidren are committing child abuse. Oppose any law supported by the GOP, and immediately support it if it is adopted by us.

Hu: "Know plain living and hard struggle; do not wallow in luxuries and pleasures."
Dems: Unless you've been elected to office.

Seems like Hu only scores about a 30% on the liberalism scale to me. He wouldn't stand a chance in the northeast.
