My wife did not work for 14 years while we homeschooled our daughter. No amount of money could buy a teacher/mother like her. And no feminist could have raised such an exceptional person as my daughter is. Its almost comical to read; this woman has quite an axe to grind with highly educated women who would choose to (gasp!) raise their own children instead of engaging in the (more appropriate) relentless pursuit up the corporate ladder.

There is one thing no one mentioned. What do the children say. The kids in their 20 and early 30s were the first on a large scale to be raised by parents who both worked and dropped the kids in daycare. I bet the kids didn't like it and have vowed to never do this do their children.

I met one guy at work who didn't have nice things to say about his parents dropping him off at daycare during his youth.
