Liberals love self serving rules and limitations. That is, until they are used against them.

Is James Webb really a liberal?
To: SDGOP
As a representative of the people, he will not be dealing with just certain issues. Debate any and all current events or none. Otherwise, they might as well exchange recipes.

I can't say - my comment was more about the legion of liberals out there, and less about this particular fellow.

Is James Webb really a liberal? From what I gathered, I think he's a social liberal except perhaps pro-2A. Overhall he sounded pretty liberal in his interview on DailyKos.

How strange for a challenger to put conditions on a debate. Usually, a challenger goes out of his way to have as many debates as possible.

That's what the posts on that blog said. I guess Webb is running on his resume. I remember that McCain tried to do that and so did Kerry.

I doubt it. McCain is a self promoter but he wouldn't do that.

Is James Webb really a liberal? No, he's of the political alignment "Former Reagan Appointee Gone Stark Raving Bats**t," like Paul Craig Roberts.
