We must go on that assumption. That was my point.

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but what does it suggest about our control in this town if we are supposed to have imposed curfews, had multiple search and rescue missions, with air support, and still these barbarians manage to dump the bodies of our two troops without being detected?
To: Spiff
If it means World War III, then guess what, it means it. In fact, WWIII started on 9/11 and we need to start acting like it for once. Actually, I prefer to think of this as World War IV. To me, WW III was what historians call the "Cold War", and while the world avoided the massive nuclear exchange that was feared during that time, many millions died around the world in the battle between the free world and communism.
Perhaps the fact that we won WW III (or, if you prefer, the Cold War) by our enemy going down not with a bang, but a whimper, the thought was planted in our leadership that that would be the preferred way to end wars. Me, I prefer the WW II way. Those ragheads in Haditha got a hell of a lot more compensation than we had to pay to civilians in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Dresden.

Islam is a disease that must be eradicated -- utterly and to a person -- from the planet Earth.Agreed.
And it should commence immediately.

Until the last line, I thought you were talking about Baltimore.

The jihad filth should be questioned in the field and then be returned to their villages by being dropped over them, without the benefit of a parachute.

It's disgraceful this uncle is a spokesman for his nephew - he is NOT speaking what his nephew believed! Anymore than cindy is a mouthpiece for what her son believed. Speaking THEIR beliefs on the blood of their OWN! What a horror.

That could be New Orleans, Detroit, and several other US cities...
Is any place ever locked down so tight that people can't commit an atrocity?

They were tortured and mutilated before they were killed. Calling these Arabs rabid animals would defame rabid animals. They need to be treated in kind. They need "a rain of ruin", not "meals on wheels".

Reuters has consistently jumped the gun on stories to scoop everyone. They have been wrong on many occasions, so any reputable news company would naturally want conformation...

"...I wouldn't kill all the men and boys - only those who adided the insurgents. And, I wouldn't sell the women and children into slavery, just disperse them. I'd even let families who weren't involved in the insurgency reunite, anywhere else in Iraq. But, I would absolutely raze the town and salt the earth.Your attempt to do the deed in a sympathetic nature wouldn't bring about the effect you're looking for. I would only soothe your guilt.
No sir. The only thing that will bring peace to the country is to instill total and complete fear into them.
Afterall, those men and boys left alive grow into revengeful enemies.
Dispersing them across the land will initialte a PLO-type mentality.
Kill them all and let God sort it out.

Yes, we must go on that assumption, but I rather doubt he is, sadly. It makes no sense for them to hold him but do nothing with him (ie, try to bargain or show him on video etc).

I am so sick of the enemy engaging in the vilest forms of torture while our lame Dimocrats and MSM wring their hands over the "inhumane" treatment of detainees being forced to parade naked.
We are trying our own soldiers left and right for stepping over the line in the most confused and stressful situations imaginable.
ENOUGH!

The military didn't want to confirm their deaths until family has been notified. I'm hearing disturbing reports on the radio this morning that the news broke in their home towns because reporters were calling and asking for commentary.
