Veeeeeeeeeery interesting. Colonel Hunt said on Fox today that if we shoot it down, it means war.

We are already at war with North Korea.

"Veeeeeeeeeery interesting. Colonel Hunt said on Fox today that if we shoot it down, it means war." We are still 'officially' at war with NK.

I saw that, as well. I guess that all depends on how we destroy it. If it's blown away in the missile's terminal phase, it shouldn't be over any disputed territory. It was on its way down, anyway. I'd just tell them that and add, "You were doing a test. So were we. Thanks for the joint exercise."

And if we don't? How will Kim know it was not another design failure if we do. I doubt if they have a RADAR that is sophisticated enough to tell what happened to it.

I saw that. Boarding the USS Pueblo was an act of war, too. If that missile is winging our way, shoot it down. I recall a test shot out of Vandenburg that was successful.
Then deal with the mullahs.

If that test fails NK will never know for sure why .....

Colonel Hunt said on Fox today that if we shoot it down, it means war. Aren't we technically still at war with the buggers anyway?

Colonel Hunt said on Fox today that if we shoot it down, it means war. I might interpert that to mean that the United States would only shoot it down if it threatened U.S. territory. Otherwise it's an "intelligence event".

We are still at war with N. Korea. We are only in a state of cease fire.
