The particularity of the cities is the lack of cars. Everyone is walking, sometimes they take packed public transportatins made of tramways, trolleys and even 2 storie buses. The bicycles are rare and expensive.
The pedestrian zebra is original.

Don't see much in the way of commercial enterprises. Where does anyone buy anything? Oh, that's right, no money. Perfect for those who hate "consumerism."

Even if Mr. Ronery gets his comeuppance tomorrow, the scars on the people's souls will last for generations. The only bright side to this? After North Korea falls, the north Koreans will be the most die hard anti communists on the planet.

I replied with a joke, but unfortunatly the the joke is fact. The North Koreans are the poorest of the poor. They don't even have a free will. It's owned by the state.
