Lots of good photos. Check 'em out. 2 samples ---->>>
The particularity of the cities is the lack of cars. Everyone is walking, sometimes they take packed public transportatins made of tramways, trolleys and even 2 storie buses. The bicycles are rare and expensive.
The pedestrian zebra is original.
Not much question just where the 38th parallel lies, is there?
Hey, that traffic cop is a hottie!
but give me a couple minutes.
I don't know which is sicker: that the DUmmies might think this sort of misery should be for all, or that they might think it to be all lies. They certainly won't believe what their own Mk. I eyeballs are showing them -- will they claw them out rather than be forced to question their worldview?
Damn, that's a cheery place.
Like the Seinfeld episode where Elaine dates a "Communist". He wears drab colorless clothes and speaks highly of the "common worker" and the evils of a capitalistic society.
All I'm saying is that you could take a photo at certain times of the day in any major city and not see a car or person anywhere.
Back in 76 I walked down 5th Avenue from the Essex hotel in Manhatten across the street from Central Park...all the way down to Nathan's near Times Square and hardly saw a soul.
It was 4AM in the morning.
Figured that area was safe...and I had the munchies for a hotdog.
Don't be so defensive. I hate socialism and communism. I'm probably more of a capitalist than you are.

Let them go down there and sample life without being led around by some party apparatchik. The left-wing politicians and celebrities go there and get the Potemkin Village treatment, and come back raving about how great life is there. I'd like to show them around. Weasels.
Your typical leftist would look at that picture (South Korea all in light at night and North Korea almost all black) and praise North Korea's "sustainable" economy. Probably the leftist would also say that North Korea is more "democratic" than South Korea or Japan.
Looking at the intersection in that photo, it that the typical traffic cop that directs "imaginary" traffic?
This is what a lot of people in Ninnieapolis would call "paradise".
Not in the slightest ... Even commie China is better off than Li'l Kim's Glorious Workers' Paradise.
I'm not sure the typical leftist (at least in USA) is quite that far removed from reality, but the deep-green envirowhackos are quite upfront about it.
I'd love to let loose with one of these there:
>>>>Even commie China is better off than Li'l Kim's Glorious Workers' Paradise.
I don't know about that.

Eminent domain, communist Chinese-style
Have another gander at the OLS image ... you can clearly see the 38th parallel and the Yalu River. North Korea is the Land of Darkness.
Enlightening.
Yep, it sucks to live there.
