No, hon. I can see that it's quite correct what I remembered reading.

Parker refused to leave the school and insisted on being arrested.

It's sad to see so many freepers who are part of the group who don't want to let the facts get in the way of their agenda.

Ummmmm Hon..........you might want to read somewhere other than a Lexington town paper, or Lexington cares website. When the school board reports to all three, what kind of report can one expect. You apparently don't know this school system. This is not the first time they have had parents in an uproar, and not the first time they have intimidated those parents. Only difference is, Mr. Parker is not going to be intimidated into silence, or moving.

I wouldn't want to be in his position, or his sons, but I applaud his values, and his standing up for them. He feels enough is enough, and he isn't going to just move away or take his kid out, and the heck with the rest of the innocent children in the school, as many have felt compelled to do, not that I blame them). Someone has to stand up for what's right, and not back down. He is brave enough to do it. And as such, has my and many others, full support.
