Please point to me where the phrase "separation of church and state" appears in the Constitution.

Please point to me where the phrase "separation of church and state" appears in the Constitution. I was told once that it only appears in the Constitution of the former USSR.

It a crying shame that the "state" ever got into the education business.

What are you? Blind?
It's right there next to the part that says women can have an abortion anytime they want.
Jeez. I gotta tell you people everything.

Please point to me where the phrase "separation of church and state" appears in the Constitution. It doesn't. It appears in The Danbury Papers, a series of letters exchanged by Jefferson with some Danbury, CT baptists. Jefferson was an athiest and a rapist (not that he was all bad, mind you. He was a great writer.) What do you expect?
