It's a good metaphor, because Christ's message of salvation is the living water.
Always test the water's source against the Word before drinking it--and only drink if it's 100% pure.
There's a lot of contaminated water out there in the world today, presented in beautiful glasses and ice cold--very tempting.
Yep, people today are so thirsty they will accept almost anything handed to them.
Oh, and about the National Association of Evangelicals. They seem to be one of those ecumenical "all paths lead to God" groups, similar to the National Council of Churches. We have to be wary constantly.
