Thought FR would be interested in this review of a great FR author's latest book. Along with "Patriot's History of the United States", this book should be in every liberty loving, patriotic American's library.

You won't be sorry. A great addition to the library. Great for kids and grandkids to get a feel for and facts concerning our military and why it is able to do what it does.

I just ordered it, along with Bill Sammons' "Strategery" (I really enjoyed "Misunderestimated") and Barnes' "Rebel-in-Chief." I'm taking a long trip this summer, and this is my kind of reading material!

Thanks Jeff. I will have to add both books to my library.

Thanks for the head's up, Jeff! If you get a chance, peruse
this thread.

Excellent.
I was planning on writing my own book "French Victoires" but I couldn't come up with any source material.

Before reading the book, I would submit a layman's opinion of why America seems to win at most any endeavor; it's a part of the American psyche. A "can do" thread that runs through the culture generally. IMHO, and as you've probably noticed, the thread is becoming frayed in places. Our military is one of the strong spots; harkening back to the days when honor, pride and tradition were the norm instead of the exception.
I pray the book does well. Thanks for the heads up and a bttt.

You hit the nail on the head for Chapter 3.

You are welcome. I am concerned about any so-called American Union as well and the possibility of our enemies or those disloyal to the Constitution getting it done through treaty. There should be an amendment that makes any treaty that would impact the constitution or the union in any such way require the same process as an amendment...because in essence, that is what it becomes.

Well...actually, the French, long ago, were a great help to us in the Revolutionary War. However, today, and since soon after WW II, they have gone their own way and spurned us. Having said that...there are French people, and plenty of them, who remember. Someone is taking care of all of those American graves.

FGS, this book is full of precisely that...the "can do" attitude and general positive outlook that has been an American hallmark.

You hit the nail on the head for Chapter 3. Well, it's encouraging to know some of this ol' East Texas country boy's thoughts run in the same herd with bona fide scholars amongst us. Again, hoping for another successful effort for you.

Thanks for the review. Heard Larry on a public radio interview (linked on FR) recently. He was an outstanding guest and treated the somewhat hostile callers with respect. It was a great interview and Larry was terrific.

..."can do" attitude and general positive outlook that has been an American hallmark. One is forced to wonder if that spirit can be widely rekindled. 9/11, for all its destruction, seemed to temporarily ignite that spirit, at least until the diligent efforts of the Dims and their media comrades reined us in. The nanny state will not be denied, eh?
