It left the Democrats flummoxed. Its easy to defend abortion in the abstract. What's impossible is to justify its existence when there's a human being in front of you. The liberal reaction is quite revealing - for them, humanity begins and ends after birth. And not quite there because if you're completely comatose, you have no human rights either. Its time the public saw these people for who they really are. Even their compassion comes across as merely contrived since it doesn't recognize the necessity of extending humanity across the entire phase of human existence.

The pathetic whine of the Majority Leader, "I think it was amazingly rude to use a human being as an example of his personal politics." is priceless.
There are times when it is best to "be silent and move on" and the Majority Leader should have recognized that moment when it occurred. Now, he is forever stamped as one of the 'less than bright'. Not to mention one of the 'less than sensitive".
And he did it to himself. Publicly, too.

Question: How do you survive an abortion. I mean if at first you don't succeed try again.

"We need to discuss the humanity of it. I'm glad to be able to speak up for children in the womb," she said. "If abortion is about women's rights, where were my rights?" Beautifully stated.
And, from Representative TED Harvey...now you know..."the REST of the story."

Question: How do you survive an abortion. I mean if at first you don't succeed try again. I believe the procedure induces contractions to expell the fetus. You have to understand it's nature. At it's core, abortion is a very selfish act, not a political act or act of conscience. Success is to not be pregnant so in that way it "succeeded." Once the baby passes into the world alive, it would be murder in all 50 states to continue the procedure. No abortionist would risk his freedom (or livelihood) so they call 911.

To democrats abortion means guarantee of a dead baby. It makes democrats mad when the humanity (read aliveness) of those they defending slaughtering is presented. Why? If they are so strongly defending this slaughter, why is the truth about the aliveness of these victims a bad thing? Well, to democrats, lying about this evil must not be exposed, because exposing this deceit by them will be like a row of dominoes falling, one lie following another and another and another, until the truth of how bankrupt their souls and their political agenda really ARE is laid bare and the American people reject them for the servants of the father of lies they truly are! Sadly, the Catholic Church and most ofd the protestant denominations cooperate in this deceit by continuing to lend to these deceivers/liars the image of faith while they contain none of it and continue to defend and even promote the bloody evil.

And this young lady thinks it was amazingly rude of this country to permit a doctor to insert saline into the womb to burn her alive.
