through a ham radio buddy who got him a filipina himself!
What a wild story -- I would have thought he would have waited a little longer -- Ramona was still assuming room temperature, IIRC.
I was kidding, didn't mean to seem insensitive to his condition.
I just use a 60ft. wire for my 818cs. It works good at night. I just never got into ham. This Damn puter has dominated my radio time since i retired. I just stream what I used to work hard at to receive am radio up here.
I hadn't thought of it, was interesting to look up and see he's still using the same sythensizer!
Hi, you! Sorry I missed the thread tonight! Visited with my Dad, who is on the mend nicely, and then off to friends to chack out Game Five and barbecued chicken. Both excellent.
Hope your weekend was enormously great!
Well, this ISDN effort isn't working out so well is it? He might be better to just call in!
At first I thought his oil stories were the lead into a commercial for gold. I've read and heard these comments before from other sources. The oil supply is being increasingly controlled by new leftists in Central America. If the leftist Mexican candidate for President is elected, I expect it to get worse.
Get a life.
Dropping the signal here -- mostly on Art's end, though losing WABC occasionally. 'Nite from here -- see you next week.
This isnt ISDN...it is a step below. I forgot the name of it.
its a Comrex
Get lost Bubba. I was asking the hostess and wasn't talking to you; others were kind enough to answer my questions. You can chew on someone else because I'm outta here.

I almost posted "its a Centox" but that is from the show 24.
pfft! probably. lol
Yes, he was live last night. There wasn't a lot of conversation about the new Mrs. Bell, other than a weird comment that Ramona spoke to him from beyond and told him it was okay. Or something. Yaelle pointed out that was probably something else "speaking" to him. ahem (lol)
There was no conversation about how she relates to the Bell children. He talked about how it is to live in Manila, and how great it is to have a USA driver license & stuff like that, but then moved on to whatever guest he had. I didn't stay for that.
Dave, he's permanently now an ex-pat, someone else runs the Pahrump acreage and radio station, but he still owns it, as far as I know.
Aw. Thank YOU. The weekend's just not complete without seeing you. :)
I love how 24 sent Jack Bauer off on a slow boat to China.
