Good points. I think the husband is a drag on her, too.
Still, I tend to think that if she wanted to get out of the spotlight for a while, she could.

I laughed when reading that NYT thing. Dan, Dan the Anchor Man wouldn't be half as pathetic if he'd just move on and quit whining.
"They talk about wanting a break with the past," he added. "Look at the Murrow film. I don't want to break with that past."
He uses a George Clooney fictionalized account of Murrow to point to? He's supposed to be a JOURNALIST!

Yes the cLooney was more than a tad fictionalized, but it's the myth that all the media libs believe as The Irrefutable Truth.

Britney was a child when she began in show business and her mom appeared to be a very controlling manager. It looks like Britney's trying to put together a normal family life, contrary to what her mother may have wanted for her career. I hope she gets her emotional act together-- who doesn't?

I have a Grundig something I bought about 8 years ago and can barely get 3 stations. My 12 year old Sony dream machine clock radio gets great reception... except when I am on the road. I am reluctant to pay monthly sat fee to just listen to a few talk radio stations.

The red/blue map behind RaTHer reminds me of MSM refusing to call Ohio for Bush on election night 2004. After waiting forever Drudge finally called it for Bush. FWIW Drudge now calls elections for me.

remarkable that they make it up to bolster their agenda, and believe the nonsense that they made up. That defines delusion.

I said that I think if she really wanted to quiet her life, she could. And I think she
should. But unfortunately (whether the stage-mom is most to blame or not) I also see a deeper pathology there. The photo in post #346 and how she's dressed is a blatant cry for attention.
